Summary
The Zittau Mountains Nature Park encompasses the low mountain range of the same name and the Mandau Valley landscape conservation area. Located in the very south-east of Saxony on the border to Poland and the Czech Republic, the nature park has existed since 2007. In Germany's hundredth nature park, flora and fauna are not only protected, but also brought closer to visitors in the nature park house. Pristine nature and a 1000-year-old cultural landscape come together here to form an impressive landscape.
