Summary
The “Vorderer Roxheimer Altrhein-Krumbeeräcker” nature reserve is located northeast of the municipality of Bobenheim-Roxheim in the Rhine-Palatinate district of Rhineland-Palatinate. It borders the Silbersee lake to the southeast. The focus of protection is a section of the Old Rhine with valuable shallow water zones, near-natural banks, and extensive reed beds. This habitat is complemented by species-rich wet meadows, which provide a refuge for numerous rare plant and animal species.
