Description
The Tongruben nature reserve near Binsfeld is located in the Bernkastel-Wittlich district. The area of around 17.5 hectares was declared a nature reserve in 1985 and is located south-west of the village of Binsfeld. The aim of nature conservation is to preserve the still waters and their neighbouring transitional areas as secondary habitats for rare, endangered animal and plant species.
