Summary
The Swiss wildlife refuges are crucial areas for protecting mammals and birds and aim to avoid disturbances caused by the increase in outdoor activities in the recent years. Entry to Swiss wildlife refuges is prohibited during certain times of the year as well as on special occasions. For some wildlife refuges, prohibition of entry is a mere recommendation, while for others it is strictly prohibited by law and punishable in the case of violation.

Zusatzinformation: Durchquerung WRG NI 6 für Schneeschuhlaufen u. Winterwandern Rellerli–Hundsrück–Jaunpass auf Sommerweg o. Grat entlang erlaubt. Winterwandern Rellerli–Mittelberg–Grubenberghütte auf Sommerweg erlaubt.
