Summary
Nature reserves constitute one of the most important conservation categories in Germany and Austria. The exact definitions vary, but together they combine the conservation of natural landscape, the protection of endangered species and the preservation for scientific interests.

Für das Traufgebiet der Hohen Schwabenalb repräsentativer Hangabschnitt mit Mergelrutschhalden, Felsbildungen, reliktischen Pflanzengesellschaften und wertvollen Waldgesellschaften; als Lebensraum für eine Vielzahl seltener, überwiegend alpigener, z. T. stark gefährdeter Pflanzenarten, sowie seltener Tierarten; mit teilweise nicht genutzten, oft nur extensiv bewirtschafteten, reich strukturierten Wäldern und reliktischen Wildgrasfluren. Europaweit bedeutende Fundstätten von Siedlungsresten aus der Stein- und Bronzezeit.

Air sport (starting and landing) is forbidden.
Drones and model aircraft are forbidden.
It is forbidden in the nature reserve: to operate aircraft and model aircraft of any kind or model ships
General behavior
Disposing of waste is forbidden.
Fire is forbidden.
Dogs on a leash are allowed.
Cutting or injuring trees is forbidden.
Collecting plants is forbidden.
Noise (tape recorders, players) is forbidden.
