Summary
The Middle Our Valley nature reserve between the Dreiländereck and Rellesmühle is located in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate. The aim of protection is to preserve a near-natural submontane valley landscape in west-central Europe as a habitat for rare and endangered animal and plant species and their biocoenoses. Species associated with clean watercourses with still water zones, wetlands and near-natural deciduous forest, coppice and rocky ecosystems are particularly protected. These include amphibians, birds, bats, beetles, butterflies, dragonflies, caddisflies and other invertebrates.
