Summary
Wet meadows, riparian forests, and the mouth of the Bregenzerach form an exceptionally diverse natural landscape on the edge of the densely populated Rhine Valley. In addition to numerous water bird species, this area is home to two special plant species that occur worldwide only in the Lake Constance region: the Lake Constance forget-me-not and the tussock grass (Deschampsia rhenana).

März bis 10. Juli nicht näher als 50 m an die Achufer und nicht näher als 100 m an die Kiesinseln herangefahren werden darf.
