Summary
The Swiss wildlife refuges are crucial areas for protecting mammals and birds and aim to avoid disturbances caused by the increase in outdoor activities in the recent years. Entry to Swiss wildlife refuges is prohibited during certain times of the year as well as on special occasions. For some wildlife refuges, prohibition of entry is a mere recommendation, while for others it is strictly prohibited by law and punishable in the case of violation.

Zusatzinformation: Bei Arbeiten, Freizeitaktivitäten und Veranstaltungen ist jedermann verpflichtet, auf die Bedürfnisse der betroffenen Wildtiere und Vögel gebührend Rücksicht zu nehmen und sie vor vermeidbaren Störungen, vor Verletzungen oder vor Tötung zu bewahren.
