Description
The Bärenkopf Landscape Protevtion Area is located in the southeastern area of the Karwendel Mountains between the Lake Achensee depression in the north and the Stanser Joch in the south. The area features a rugged mountain landscape. Rugged slopes with rock vegetation and mountain pines alternate with cultivated landscapes, commercial forests and alpine pastures.
