The Haardtrand nature reserve – In der Rüstergewann is located in the district town of Bad Dürkheim in the district of the same name in Rhineland-Palatinate. The approximately 44-hectare area, which has been under nature conservation since 1989, extends westward directly adjacent to the Bad Dürkheim district of Leistadt. The purpose of the protection is to preserve and develop an area characterized by a diverse pattern of use, including vineyards, orchards, shrubbery and fringe biotopes, as well as forest and forest edge areas.
