Summary
The Haardtrand – Am Wachtberg nature reserve is located in the district of Südliche Weinstraße in Rhineland-Palatinate. Its purpose is to preserve and develop an area characterized by a diverse range of uses. These include vineyards with varying degrees of cultivation intensity, orchards, and shrubbery and fringe biotopes. The area also includes forest and forest edge areas, dry stone walls, and vineyard terraces, which together form a unique landscape worthy of protection.
