Summary
The Engelswäsgeswiese nature reserve is located in the district of Birkenfeld in Rhineland-Palatinate. The approximately 46-hectare area, which was placed under protection in 1987, extends to the north-west of the local community of Langweiler. The purpose of the protection is to preserve the quarry area with its moorland as a habitat for rare and endangered wild plants and plant communities.
