Summary
The Selzniederung nature reserve serves to preserve and develop an ecologically valuable area with near-natural streams and woodlands. It includes reed beds and permanently wet and temporarily flooded green spaces that provide habitats for rare plant and animal species. The area is part of a networked biotope system in the Selz catchment area.
