Summary
Summit of the Belchen (1414 m) in the southwest Black Forest, part of the southern Black Forest gneiss floe; in the summit area there are high pastures with bristly grass communities, in places also heather communities with berry bushes; especially on rocky steep slopes and rocky outcrops, occurrence of numerous alpine and subalpine plant species.
