Reusssteg

Above the point where the Reuss flows into Lake Uri, the Reusssteg – a 38-metre-long bridge on the Swiss Path – connects the municipalities of Flüelen and Seedorf. Two striking arches made of glued-laminated timber form the bridge’s supporting structure. They are particularly exposed to the elements and, after more than 35 years of service, require extensive renovation. During the construction phase, the bridge will be closed to non-motorised traffic. Please use the diversion.
