Ammergauer Alpen

Résumé

Established in 2017, the Ammergau Alps Nature Park is one of two German Alpine nature parks and, thanks to its extremely diverse and varied natural areas and cultural landscapes, is both a hotspot of biodiversity and a place of attraction and longing for countless people.

Descriptif

Auf einer Fläche von insgesamt 227,38 km² liegt der Naturpark vollständig innerhalb des Landkreises Garmisch-Partenkirchen im äußersten Süden Bayerns. Charakteristisch ist die große Vielfalt unterschiedlicher Lebensräume: Felsige Dolomit-Gebirgskämme bis zu einer Höhe von über 2000 m.ü.M., mystische Bergwälder und Moore, idyllische Almen und Wiesmahdhänge, einen der letzten naturnahen Alpenflüsse und traditionsreiche Orte wie Oberammergau oder Ettal.
