The Schollaschopf nature reserve is home to the only raised bog in Hohenems. In addition to the rare tree species Pinus uncinata (mountain pine), typical bog specialists such as bog rosemary (Andromeda polifolia) and the common cranberry (Vaccinium oxycoccos) thrive here.
