The Quiddelbacher Höhe/Nürburgring nature reserve safeguards a distinctive plateau in Rheinland-Pfalz. Established in 2002, its primary purpose is the preservation, care, and development of this high-lying area. It serves as a vital sanctuary for numerous rare and endangered wild plant species and their unique communities. Furthermore, the reserve provides critical habitats for threatened animal species, contributing significantly to biodiversity. The area's special landscape character and inherent beauty are also key reasons for its protection.
