The Kalksteinbrüche Rosengarten nature reserve, designated in 1983, transforms former limestone quarries into a vital sanctuary for nature. This unique landscape, once an industrial site, has been under the dedicated care of BUND Rheinland-Pfalz and its local Wonnegau group since 1978. Their ongoing efforts are crucial for the preservation and maintenance of the area.
