Ediger Laach

Přírodní rezervace

Popis a mapa

Shrnutí

Ediger Laach is a nature reserve in the district of Cochem-Zell in Rhineland-Palatinate. The approximately 16-hectare area is located south-east of Ediger between the federal road 49 to the north and the Moselle; the Taubengrün island nature reserve borders to the south-east. The purpose of the protection is to preserve the Moselwerth and the Ediger Laach as a habitat for rare and endangered plant species and plant communities, as a breeding and resting area for numerous endangered bird species, to preserve the Moselle valley arm with its alluvial forest, for reasons of natural history and because of its special landscape character.
